TB Centers of Excellence

The CDC’s Division of Tuberculosis Elimination currently funds four COEs. Essential functions of the COEs include developing TB educational materials and providing training, technical assistance, and medical consultation to local and state health departments. The four COEs are Heartland National TB Center (TX), Southeastern National Tuberculosis Center (FL), Global Tuberculosis Institute at Rutgers (NJ), and Curry International Tuberculosis Center (CA).
