Who:

Stephen Williams, director, Houston Department of Health and Human Services (HDHHS) and officials with several local agencies that assisted area residents in signing up for health insurance through the Affordable Care Act. 

What:

The Gulf Coast Health Insurance Marketplace Collaborative and Williams will honor 10 area agencies and their representatives for their outreach efforts and enrollment initiatives to help uninsured residents sign up for one of the more than 40 health insurance plans available in the Gulf Coast region. ACA navigators, assisters and outreach staff will also receive recognition for their work.
