A community forum sponsored by several local agencies will teach families how to manage their children’s asthma and eliminate environmental hazards such as lead, mold, carbon monoxide and pests in their homes.

The “Healthy Communities, Children with a Future” forum is set for May 6, from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Hiram Clarke Multi-Service Center, 3810 W. Fuqua.

The forum includes a health fair, a children’s puppet show about asthma, refreshments and prizes. For more information, call 713-556-7280.
