A free opening reception for a juried art exhibit featuring works created by people with disabilities is set for Friday, July 23 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Metropolitan Multi-Service Center, 1475 West Gray.

The exhibit, sponsored by the Art League of Houston, Art Colony Association and the multi-service center, includes paintings, photographs, sculptures, prints and other visual artworks. The exhibit will be on display at the center through August from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Fridays.

The first, second and third place winners will receive a booth at the 2005 Spring Bayou City Arts Festival.
