Care Connection specializes in locating both private and public services for older adults and individuals with disabilities of all ages. Care Connection is a free service targeting residents of these Texas counties: Austin, Brazoria, Chambers, Colorado, Fort Bend, Galveston, Harris, Liberty, Matagorda, Montgomery, Walker, Waller and Wharton.
Community Re-Entry Network Program

The Community Re-Entry Network Program provides resources for ex-offenders through life skills classes, case management and referrals to other providers to assist with bridging the transition from prison to the community.
GED Classes

Gulf Coast Community Services provides general equivalency diploma (GED) classes to the Harris County community. One-on-one instruction, with dedicated staff whom help students improve their basic skills and obtain high school credentials.

Mayor's Assistance Office

The Mayor's Assistance Office functions in a customer service capacity to ensure that City of Houston services are delivered to neighborhoods. Investigates problems and quickly reports to the proper department to be solved within a reasonable period of time. Also provides support to groups involved with community development activities and works directly with civic clubs, neighborhood organizations, schools, and churches. Serves as an information and referral source.
My Brother's Keeper

BakerRipley Senior Services provides socialization, recreation, health and nutrition education for seniors 60 and older. Meals on site are also provided.
Target Hunger
First and fourth Friday, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Target Hunger is a supplemental food program that facilitates the effective entry, coordination and implementation of Houston’s existing educational, health and social services for underserved communities.
